Linda Harrach

August 23, 1953 – July 5, 2009
Linda Harrach’s mother, Kathleen Harrach, shares these memories with Linda’s classmates:
Linda Harrach moved to Boulder, Colorado from Staten Island, New York in 1969. She was the oldest child in her family, with two brothers and one sister. Linda was very active in the Boulder High School band and played trumpet. Her love of the marching band lasted throughout her life. Her good friend at Boulder High School was Anjie Lebsack.
After high school, Linda lived in Englewood and then Highlands Ranch. Her daughters are Jessica (now 38) and Rebecca (now 32). She delighted in making costumes for her children’s festivities and parades when they were young. She imparted her love of music to them. Linda’s daughter, Jessica, played the trumpet in the CU marching band and was a drum major, as well. Linda’s daughter, Rebecca, played both the flute and piccolo in her high school band.
In support of her daughters’ musical endeavors, Linda devoted a great deal of her time as a volunteer for the middle school band in Englewood, Colorado. Linda was a very good mother, and music was a real joy shared between Linda and her daughters.
Linda was also a grandmother to Madeline, Morgan, and Brett and is greatly missed by her family.
